Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Malaysia Ibrahim Sahib Ansar has been attacked by an unidentified persons this evening while on his way back from the Kualalampur Air Port it has been reported.The Injured Sri Lankan Ambassador has been admitted to the police Hospital attached to the Kuala Lampur Air Port according to sources.He was attacked while on his way after accompanying the visiting Sri Lankan Joint Opposition MP Dinesh Gunawardena to the Air Port .
According to the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry an inquiry on the attack has already been launched by the authorities
