The hearing of the court case filed agsinst Joint Opposition MP Wimal Weerawansha regarding allegedly attempting to travel abroad through an expired Diplomatic Passport has been postponed until 02nd of February 2017 by the Negambo Magistrate Court today it has been reported.The court has postponed the case after the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has requested the court to allocate more time to obtain certain evidence regarding the incident.
