The trial at bar comprising three judges of the Colombo High Court who had sentenced five persons to death over the murder of former UPFA MP Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and three others today (08)has given a divided Judgment as the president of the bar High Court judge Shiran Gunaratne wants all 13 charged over the murder to release on bail.However as other two judges in the Trial At Bar Pahmini Ranawake and C.B.S Moraias given the verdict as five persons including former MP Duminda Silva sentenced to death while eight other accused released on bail.
Meanwhile As the suspects were sent to the prison the Attorneys of former MP Duminda Silve has stated that they will appeal against today's decision.
