The anticipatory bail application filed by the former Chief Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) in Colombo Dr.Ananda Samarasekera regarding the murder of former rugby player Wasim Thajudeen has been rejected by Colombo Magistrate Court today (15).The ex JMO Dr.Samarasekera has stated through his bail application that the Police are expected to arrest him regarding the investigations carried out on the disappearence of several body parts belonging to the former rugby player.
Dr.Samarasekera has requested the court through the application to issue an order directing the Police to release him on anticipatory bail as he has no connection to the incident and not committed any offence.
