Veteran Photo Journalist Srilal Gomas Has Passed Away

Veteran Photo Journalist and former Photography Editor attached to Divaina/Island Newspapers Srilal Gomas has passed away this morning at the Colombo National Hospital after long battle with cancer.

He entered the media industry in 1979 as a Junior Photographer of the "Isuru"monthly magazine launched by Mahaweli Ministry and also served as a media secretary to several ministers.

The late Photo Journalist Srilal Gomas's funeral is due to take place this Saturday at Sapugaskande Roman Catholic Cemetery .

We have worked with him for several years and have a good memories on him."May his soul rest in peace".
