The former chief minister of the Eastern Province shivanasathurai chandrakanthan allias Pillayan Who is in remand in connection with the murder case of former MP Joseph Pararajasingham was further remanded until 24th of August by the Batticalloa Magistrate Court.Pillayan was further remanded when he was produced before the Batticalloa Magistrate court yesterday(10).
He was detained by the Colombo Crimes Division on 09th of October last year.
