No Sri Lankan Has Been Affected Due To The Earthquake Occurred In Italy

No Sri Lankan has been affected due to the strong earthquake meassuring as 6.2 in the Richter Scale occurred in Central Italy today (24)according to the Sri Lankan High Commission in Italy.

However the Sri Lankan High Commission officials are keep in touch with the  local authorities regarding the situation as there are a large number of Sri Lankans lives there Sri Lankan Ambassador To Italy Daya Palpola has stated..

Due to the earthquake occurred  in Norcia  area in Italy around 120 persons were killed and more than 1000 persons displaced it has been reported.
