Legal action is due to be filed against 859 premises owners who were found as maintaining Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places in their premises during the three day Special Dengue Control Programme conducted by the Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine at the Western Province on 29th of July,30th of July and 01st Of August .Accordingly another 3238 premises owners have been issued notices for keeping risky environment in their places that will help to breading of dengue mosquitoes the Ministry has stated.
During the programme 520 teams comprising of members of Armed Forces and Health Officials have been raided 69,994 premises and out of them 1403 places have found as maintains dengue mosquito breading places it has been reported.
