The supreme court has today(08) rejected the fundamental rights petition filed by former minister of economic development Basil Rajapakshe seeking an order to prevent his possible arrest regarding allegations leveled against him.
The former minister has filed the petition last month by claiming that the financial crimes investigations division(FCID) is planning to arrest him over money laundering charges leveled against him.
