The Private Bus Drivers Operating buses from Colombo-Chilaw Bus Route have launched a strike action since this morning by demanding the release of the bus driver who was detained by police over an assault on another bus driver and two others.Due to the Bus Strike people have faced enormous difficulties it has been reported.
The police have detained the above mentioned bus driver as he assaulted another bus driver over a personal dispute .Police have also detained some other persons who have obstructed policemen.
