The National Police Commission has today(30) promoted seven senior superintendents Of Police(SSP's) to the rank of Deputy Inspector General Of Police(DIG).Accordingly the National Police Commission has promoted former Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana,SSP Padmalal sandungahawatta,SSP Wasantha Wikramasinghe ,SSP Champika Siriwardena,SSP Priyantha Jayakody,SSP Mervyn Wikramasinghe and SSP Nimal Perera to the rank of DIG.
