Muslim Community Has Begun A Month Of Fasting For Ramadan

The Muslim Community all over the world has begun a month of fasting today(07) prior to Ramadan Festival(Eid Al Fitr) as the crescent of Ramadan has sighted the Colombo Grand Mosque announced.

The fasting during Ramadan ,the ninth month of Islamic Lunar Calendar is considered as one of the five pillars of Islam.
