Former Colombo Additional Magistrate Has Given A Statement To CID Over Keeping An Elephant Calf Ilegally In His Possession

The former Colombo Additional Magistrate Thilina Gamage has given a statement to Criminal Investigations Department (CID)today(07)regarding the alleged  possession of an elephant calf without  a valid permit.

The former Additional Magistrate was surrendered to gangodawila magistrate court on last Thursday(02) over the allegation and released on a cash bail of Rs.500,000 and four personal bails of Rs.2.5  million each  .He was ordered to appear before CID Today(07).

The former Additional Magistrate is on compulsory leave regarding the allegation.
