The Kosgama Provincial Hospital situated near the salawa Army Camp where the fire erupted has been severely damaged due to the fire according to Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine.All the resident patients in Kosgama Hospital have been transferred to the Awissawella Base Hospital as a result the Ministry has stated.
