Sri Lanka Customs Officers have today(06) detained a person at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Air Port who had attempted to smuggle a stock of expensive "Wallapatta" worth Rs.3.8 million out of the country .The suspect was fined Rs.100,000 while the stock of "Wallapatta" which is also known as "Gyrinops Walla" in his possession was confiscated."Wallapatta" is popular as using to make expensive perfumes.
