Supreme Court has today(16) dismissed the petition filed by former United National Party(UNP) Parliamentarian Rosy Senanayake seeking recounting of the Colombo District preferential votes at the last General Elections .The petition has requested the court to issue an order to elections commissioner requesting a recounting of the preferential votes in Colombo district ..
The bench comprising Chief Justice K.Sripavan has made the decision to dismiss petition when the petition was taken up for hearing today.
