As heavy showers expected to continue in most parts of the island within next 24 hours ,there's a possibility of landslides in five districts according to authorities .Accordingly people living in Udapalatha and several areas of Kandy,Ratnapura ,Nuwara Eliya,Kalutara and Kegalle Districts are advised to be vigilant on the situation.
As a result of heavy showers landslides occurred in several areas of Kegalle and Kandy Districts two Weeks ago which left several people dead,
