Eleven Persons Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Van-Bus Collision Occurred At Yakkala Area

Eleven Persons including a small boy and a female were injured ans hospitalized yesterday(20) due to a Van-Bus collision occurred at Yakkala-Mahawita area of Colombo-Kandy Main Road according to the Police.

The injured were admitted to the Gampaha Hospital for further treatment.

The Accident has occurred when the Van travelling from Colombo to Kandy had collided with a Bus arriving  from  opposite side it has been reported.

The cause of  the accident has been identified as the    Driver of the Van fallen a sleep  at the wheel  Police had revealed.
