A sudden fire has broken out at a Grid Sub Station attached to Ceylon Electricity Board(CEB) at Ja Ela-Kotugoda this evening as a result of an explosion occurred at a Transformer there according to reports.The fire brigade arrived at the scene has managed to doused the fire completely the reports have stated.
Due to the fire the power supply to the Negambo area has been stopped the sources said.
