The former president Mahinda Rajapakshe's seond son Yoshitha Rajapakshe and three others who were arrested and remanded over money laundering charges have been released on bail this morning by the Colombo High Court.However the fifth suspect remanded over the money laundering charges with above mentioned persons Nishantha Ranathunge was not able to get bail today as he has filed a seperate bail application and it is due to be considered by Colombo High Court romorrow(15).
The former president Mahinda Rajapakshe and his Attorneys had filed the bail application on behalf of Yoshitha and three other suspects on 17th of February.However the bail application was earlier rejetced by Colombo High Court on 29th of February.
