The Imprisoned former Chief Minister Of Eastern Province Sivanasathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan who is in remand over the killing of former TNA MP Joseph Pararajasingham has been further remanded today(23) until 06th of April.The Former Chief Minister has been further remanded after being produced before Batticloe Magistrate this morning.
The former TNA MP Joseph Pararajasingham was shot dead on Christmas Eve on 2005 and Pillayan was arrested and later remanded after he has given a statement regarding the murder to the Criminal Investigations Department(CID).
