The Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Pieris has today(23) instructed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)Officials to speeding up the Investigations on the Controversial Death of former Sri Lankan Rugby Player Wasim Thajudeen.
When the case on Thajudeen's Death has been taken up for consideration today the senior state counsel Dilan Ratnayake has stated that CCTV Camera Video Footage obtained from roadside at the road where Thajudden has succumbed to his injuries following a car accident were examined in connection with the incident and it didn't contribute well to the investigations.
The Senior State Counsel has also requested from the Court further two months to conclude the investigation on Thajudeen's Death.
After considering the facts revealed on Thajudeen's Death the Colombo Additional Magistrate has postponed the case until 12th of May.
