Lanka Electricity Board has taken legal action against 2704 persons last year(2015) who had been fraudulently made use of electricity according to Ministry Of Power And Energy .The Electricity Board has fined Rs.170.39 million from those who had been fraudulently made use of electricity during the raids carried out last year .
The Minister Of Power And Energy has requested the public to inform on fraudulent electricity users to the number 011 2 422 259 .
