Five Member Committee Probed On Alleged Illegal Kidney Racket Has Handed Over It's Report To The Health Minister

kidney racket සඳහා පින්තුර ප්‍රතිඵලThe Five Member Committee appointed to investigate on the alleged illegal kidney transplant racket operated between Sri Lanka and India has  handed over it's  investigation report to Minister Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne this evening,

The chairman of the committee Deputy Director General Of Health (Dental Services) Dr.Jayasundara Bandara has handed over the report to the Minister at the Ministry Of Health.


According to the Health Ministry Sources the report has  confirmed all the alleged Kidney Transplant Surgeries have performed at four private hospitals in Colombo under the permission of Health Authorities.

The Five Member Committee investigated on the alleged Kidney Racket had visited the four recognized private hospitals in Colombo to gather information regarding the kidney transplants which had been performed on  Indian Nationals.


The Health Minister is due to implement the recommendations made through the report after examining it Health Ministry Sources have said.

Indian Police have arrested the king pin of the alleged Kidney Transplant Racket operated between Sri Lanka and India Suresh Prajapathi in India  last month  and named six Sri Lankan Doctors who were involved in this racket.
