The German Government intends to grant 14 Million Euros for Sri Lanka as the technical corporation for continuing the ongoing progerammes and projects in 2016 it has been announced yesterday (17)during the Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena's tour to Germany .Under this grant 2.4 Million Euros will be provided for the development of small and medium scale enterprises in Sri Lanka ,4 Million Euros for utilizing vocational taring project in North and East ,6 Million Euros for assist the national park and buffer zones management in Wilpattu and another 0.6 Million Euros will be provided for initiatives of government and non governmental sectors.
German Government has decided to provide another 1 Million Euros for Sri Lanka as a Special Project Grant .
Meanwhile several Memorandums Of Understanding(MOU) have been signed between Governments of Sri Lanka and Germany in Berlin yesterday.
