A Disciplinary Action will be taken against the Police Officers attached to Kotadeniyawa(In Western Province) Police Station including Officer In Charge (OIC) for arrested a Teenage School Student and another person wrongfully regarding the rape and murder of Five Year Old Seya Sadewmini according to the Department Of Police.Based on the finding of Inquiry held regarding arresting two persons wrongfully the Police Department has taken steps to issue charge sheets to Kotadeniyawa Police OIC,An Inspector,A constable,Sargent and two Sub Inspectors of the Police, Department Sources said.
Kotadeniyawa Police have arrested the two Individuals soon after the body of five year old Seya found a place near her home and later released them on bail.
