The former Chairman Of Securities And Exchange Commission Dr.Nalaka Godahewa and two of his associates detained last month over a financial irregularity occurred at the Commission have been released on bail yesterday(21) by the Colombo High Court.The suspects have been released on two Personal Bails of Rs.5 million each and on a cash bail of Rs.500,000.
Dr.Godahewa along with his associates have been arrested by Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division on 07th of December over misappropriation of Rs.5 million.
