A 15 year old Student and his mother have been arrested and remanded over a fatal crash which killed a Mother and Daughter occurred at the Pedestrian Crossing on Baseline Road near Dematagoda (In Colombo)Railway Grounds last night.The Car drove by the Teenager Student ran over the Mother and Daughter around 8.50 p.m last night while they were crossing the Pedestrian Crossing .The critically Injured Mother and Daughter have been rushed to the Colombo National Hospital where they have succumbed to their injuries after being admitted.
The Teenager and the Mother in the Car have been arrested and produced before Colombo Magistrate Court today (17) and the Court has ordered the Police to remand the suspected Teenager and his Mother until 29th and 25th of January Respectively.
