Sri Lanka To Sign An International Convention For Protection Of All Persons From Enforced Disappearance

Sri Lankan Government has decided to sign an International Convention For Protection Of All Persons From Enforced  Disappearance according to Minister Of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera.

The Cabinet has approved the Signing of the International Convention Foreign Minister has informed the Parliament today(10).

Under the Convention no Person shall be subjected to  be Disappeared  enforcingly  and if such disappearance has occurred can act against it according to law by considering it as a crime that violating human rights .

Already 94 Countries have been signed the convention .
