Around 200 Tamil Political Prisoners who were engaged in a hunger strike at Sri Lanka's lPrisons against being jailed without any trial for years have ended the strike following an assuarance given by President Maithripala Sirisene.According to Commissioner General Of Prisons Rohana puspakumara ,these political prisoners have ended their hunger strike due to the assuarance given by President Srisenen that grievances of the prisoners would be addressed by 07th of November.
