CID Has Sealed Another Three Containers Of Ammunition And Weapons Belonging To Floating Armory Ship

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has sealed Three Containers Of Ammunition and Weapons belonging to the floating armory Ship of Avant Guarde Maritime Services  anchored in Galle Harbor According to Police.

The Floating Armory Ship  was taken in to custody by Sri Lanka Navy few months ago and around 900 firearms  and 200,000 bullets were found onboard  the Ship previously.

Navy has carried out the preliminary investigations on the Arms Ship and later the investigations have been handed over to CID after Navy had lodged a complaint with the Galle Harbor Police.
