The Police have today (16)handed over the investigations on the murder case of five year old girl in Kotadeniyawa ,Divulapitiya(In Western Province)area to the Criminal Investigations Department(CID) with immediate effect.The Inspector General Of Police(IGP) N.K Ilangakoon has today ordered the CID to take over the investigations on child's murder case as Kotadeniyawa Police which investigating on the murder still not been able find any suspect or positive clues regarding the case.
The body of the five year old Seya Sadewmini who had been s sexually molested and strangled to death was found inside a canal near her house on last Sunday a day after she was reported as missing.
