The Democratic Socialist Republic Of Sri Lanka will celebrate it's 64th Independence Day today (04)Exactly 64 years ago in 04th of February 1948 Sri Lanka has gained independence from British Rulers.This Years Independence Day Celebrations scheduled to be held out side Colombo at Anuradhapura District (In North Central Province) today under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksha.President is also due to inaugurated the "Dayata Kirula" Exhibition which portrayed Sri Lankan Heritage at Anuradhapura.The Exhibition will be open to public from 05th of February (Sunday) to 10th of February.
