The first death occurred in the newly opened Southern Express way was reported today (03) from 21 st post near Kalutara.According to the Police a car drove by a 26 year old youth was skidded off the road near 21st post and youth was killed in the accident.The Southern Expressway first of it's kind in Sri Lanka was opened on 27th of November 2011 by President Mahinda Rajapaksha .Since then a large number of vehicles are reported as using the expressway and fair amount of accidents too occurred during last two months.
