The Locally made BTI Bacteria which is used to destroy Dengue Mosquito Lavae can be released anytime if the Ministry Of Health make an order the Officer who developed BTI Bacteria locally Dr.(Mrs) Radhika Samarasekere said today.According to her the Bacteria already received the registration here and the Prodution too got completed."We can produce any amount which can meet the local demand and and it's cost effective comparing to the same Bacteria made in Cuba she further stressed.She revealed this at a Seminar held today at the Sri Lanka Medical Association(SLMA) Auditorium on "Dengue Prevention Strategies".
