One Prisoner was shot dead and another got injured when a Prison Guard fired at Three Robbery Suspects who tried to escape while escorted out from the Colombo Magistrate Court this morning.Both the killed and injured Prisoners were Suspects of several Robbery cases.No one in the Street got injured when a Prison Guard shot the escaping Prisoner at the crowded Dam Street.Injured Prisoner was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital with Leg Injuries and Prison Guards prevented Escaping of the third Prisoner .
A Trishaw was ready for these Three Prisoners to Escape when they are Escorted from Prison to Courts by a Prison Department Bus.
