A Journalist and the Secretary of the Sri Lankan Working Journalists Association Poddala Jayantha was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital this evening with leg injuries after been Abducted and Assaulted by an unidentified group.He was Dumped on the Road in Colombo Suburbs by a group came from a White Van before been Abducted and Assaulted.After been Assaulted he has been left on the road and admitted to the ICU of the Colombo National Hospital afterwards.His condition is stable according to the Hospital Sources.The cause of Assaulting Poddala Jayantha is not known.
Poddala Jayantha is a Journalist attached to the State owned Lake House Media Group.
