First Offshore Vessel Built By An Indian Shipping Company For Sri Lanka Navy Has Launched
The first offshore petrol vessel built by India's Goa Shipyard Limited for Sri Lanka Navy was launched at the Goa Shipyard on yesterday(11).
The Offshore Vessel which 105 meters in length and 13.6 meters wide will cost 74 million US Dollars after it's completion according to sources.
The Vessel is equipped with a helipad which capable of landing a helicopter on it the reports have stated.The vessel has named as "Sayurai".

Authorities To Pay Compansation For Salawa Army Camp Fire Victims On Tuesday
The Authorities are due to pay compensation for people who lost their houses and property as a result of Salawa Army Camp fire from next Tuesday(14) according to Colombo District Secretariat .
According to the estimates 654 houses were damaged due to the fire and some houses were completely destroyed.
The estimating of value of the damage caused to Houses and Properties due to Salawa Army Camp Fire is sue to complete tomorrow(12).The owners of the damaged houses in Salawa Area are due to receive Rs.50,000 each for a three month period as a compensation it has been reported.
