Four Persons Injured Due To A Massive Vehicle Collsion

 

 

 Four Persons were injured two of them seriously after a Vehicle transporting Mobile cranes had collided with ten vehicles parked at the street corner in Kaleliya City on Pasyala-Meerigama road yesterday (08) The injured were hospitalized it has been reported.

 

  The Vehicle transporting Mobile cranes had collided with ten vehicles parked at the street corne veering off the road and crashed into a wall and a gate  it has been reported ,The people who were in the city at the time of the incident had fled away from the area for safety according to the Police.The Crane vehicle had collided with 08 Three w healers,A Motor car and a Motorcycle and crashed into a house wall and a gate nearby according to eyewitnesses.

NBRO Issued Landslide Warnings To Two Distrcits

 The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) had issued land slide warnings to two districts in the island due to the adverse weather condition prevailing at present ,

Accordingly NBRO had issued landslide warnings to Badulla and Ratnapura districts it has been announced.People living in mountainous and slope areas in those districts are being  advised to be vigilant on the signs of landslides the NBRO has stated.

Two Wild Elephants Were Killed After Colliding With A Train

 Two wild elephants were killed after colliding with a Mail train running from Trincomalee District to Colombo last night (08) at Hathraskotuwa area in Habarana (North Central Province) .Although the Two wild elephants were killed due to the negligence of the Engine driver when they were attempting to cross the railway line,  no passenger in the train was harmed due to the incident it has been reported.

However the Mail train was derailed as a result of this incident according to reports.

Four Persons And Four Bulls Injured Due To Bus-Bullock Cart Collision

 Four persons and four bulls were injured after .the four bullock carts attached to them collided with a Passanger Bus travelling  from Mannar to Puttalam last evening (07) on the river embankment in Thanthirimale area (North central province).

The injured four piligrims who were travelling in the Bullock carts were hospitalized with serious injuries it has been reported.The four bullock carts were carrying piligrims to worship Madu church at the time of the incident it has been reported.

Polive had arrested the Bus driver over reckless driving which caused the incident.

A Person Died After Colliding With A Slow Rr

 A 39 year old person waa killed after colliding with the slow train travelling from Aluthgama area to Polgahawela last morning (07) it has been reported.

The victim had collided with the train whilst attempting to cross over the railway crossing at Thalpitiya ,Wadduwa area it has been reported.The deceased was a resident of Wadduwa area .
