Two Wild Elephants Were Killed After Colliding With A Train

 Two wild elephants were killed after colliding with a Mail train running from Trincomalee District to Colombo last night (08) at Hathraskotuwa area in Habarana (North Central Province) .Although the Two wild elephants were killed due to the negligence of the Engine driver when they were attempting to cross the railway line,  no passenger in the train was harmed due to the incident it has been reported.Elephant Crossing Sign in Hang Chat, Thailand - Encircle Photos

However the Mail train was derailed as a result of this incident according to reports.
