A Higher official of the Department of Police had interdicted two Police constables who had visited a "SPA '' located at Peliyagoda area (Western Province)during their working hours to get the service of two females there .
The assistant superintendent of Police(ASP) in Kelaniya had interdicted the two Police constables as they had visited the SPA without getting permission from the higher authorities it has been reported .The two Police constables attached to the Peliyagoda Police headquarters had fled away when the team of police officers attached to the Peliyagoda Police headquarters had surrounded the SPA in Peliyagoda accordance to the information received to it's hotline 119.

Trade Unions Protested In Front Of Finance Ministry
Trade Union activists representing state and Private sector employees and professionals had staged a massive protest campaign in front of the Ministry Of Finance in Colombo this evening (06) against the new tax system imposed by the government .
A heated argument had been erupted between some trade union activists and Police officers during the protest and Police have intervened and give permission to few leaders of the Trade unions to meet the officials of the Finance Ministry to discuss on the new tax system
Social Media Activist Handugoda Was Released On Bail
The Social Media activist Darshana Handungoda who was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) last night on his arrival from Dubai to Colombo International Airport had been released on two surety bails by the Colombo Fort Magistrate today (06).
After being produced before the Court today ,Social Media activist Hnadungoda had been released by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage on two surety bails of Rs.200,000 each .Handungoda was arrested by the CID at Katunayake International Airport over controversial video he had been posted in Social media by promoting violence it has been announced.
The case filed against Darshana Handugoda is due to be taken into consideration on 17 of May this year .,
Laugfs Also Increased Gas Prices
The Laugfs Gas company too had increased the prices of it's Gas cylinders with effect from midnight today (06) the Company has announced.Accordingly the Company had increased the 12.5KG Laugfs Gas Cylinder by Rs.200 to Rs.5280 and the Price of the 5 KG Laugfs Gas Cylinder by Rs.80 to 2112.
The Price of the 2.3KG Laugfs Gas Cylinder had been increased by Rs.32 to Rs..845.Litro Gas has increased the all varieties of Gas Cylinder with effect from yesterday .
