The Social Media activist Darshana Handungoda who was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) last night on his arrival from Dubai to Colombo International Airport had been released on two surety bails by the Colombo Fort Magistrate today (06).
After being produced before the Court today ,Social Media activist Hnadungoda had been released by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage on two surety bails of Rs.200,000 each .Handungoda was arrested by the CID at Katunayake International Airport over controversial video he had been posted in Social media by promoting violence it has been announced.
The case filed against Darshana Handugoda is due to be taken into consideration on 17 of May this year .,
