China To Donate 3 Million Meters Of White Clothing Matarial For School Uniforms

 Chinese Government has decided to donate 03 million meters of White clothing matarial for the School children in Sri lanka according to the Chinese Embassy in Colombo.


The stock of White clothing matarial worth Rs.5  billion is scheduled to be arrived in Colombo Harbor on 06th of January in  20 containers the Embassy has stated .This stock will be sufficient for  fullfill 70 percent of the White cloth matarial requirment of local school children in  next year it has been announced

Sending Unskilled Housemaids Abroad To Be Stopped

 Females  wil not be sent abroad as house maids after 31st of March next year according tp Minister of  Labor and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara.


Accordingly females will be sent abroad  after being given full training on Advanced House keeping Minister has stated.From 31st of March only skilled workers will be sent abroad as house maids in futute the Minister has stressed.

Ceylon Buddhist And Pali University To Be Closed Down

 Cabinet has today (19)decided to close down the Ceylon Buddhist and Pali University until further notice .

The Cabinet met under the 


 patronage of President Ranil Wikramasinghe had also  decided to hold talks with Chief Buddhist prelates regarding the Academic and administration activities of the University .
