The Second Sri Lankan Monkeypox Patient Identified

The second Sri Lankan Monkeypox patient has been identified today (09) at the Katunayake International Airport through a PCR Test according to the Health officials .

The male patient who had arrived in  from Dubai ,United Arab Emirates  had been admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) In Angoda for treatment it has been reported .The disease history ,the whereabouts and the details of the patient's close contacts are being investigated it has been revealed .

The first Sri Lankan Monkeypox Patient who is 20 year old  returned from Dubai has been identified through a  PCR Test conducted by Colombo Medical Research Institute (MRI)in Borella last Friday                                 

A Pregnent Female Was Killed Due To Motorcycle -Bus Collision

 A 29 year old pregnent female was killed after the Motor cycle she was travelling in colliding with a Sri Lanka transport board (SLTB) Bus at Kahatagasdigiliya-Ratmalgahawewa  road  this evening (08).

The deceased was a teacher attached to Kahatagasdigiliya Muslim collage  it has been recealed.

CID Officers Visited Colombo Remand Priosn To Get A Statament From Thilini Priyamali

 Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Officers had yesterday (07) visited the females section of the Colombo Remand prison to get a statement from Thilini Priyamali who is remanded over a large scale financial fraud  ,

Under the order issued by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court CID Officers had questioned Thilini Priymali around five hours on her involvement in the financial fraud ,

Meanwhile  the director of Krish group of companies  Janaki Siriwardane who has been remanded over her involvement in the fraud had been transferred to Negambo Remand Prison from Colombo Remand Prison .

Navy Had Arrested10 Persons With 300 KG Of Narcotics

 Sri Lanka Navy had arrested 10 Persons and recovered 300 Kilo Grammes of Narcotic believes to be Heroin during a,search operation carried out today(07).

Navy had also taken in to custody two fisheries boat during the search operation .Police Anti Nsrcotic Bureau and Special Task Force personal had assisted the Navy to carry out this,search operation

Litro Gas Increased The Prices Of LP Gas Cylinders,

 Litro Gas Company had increased the  Prices of LP Gas Cylinders With effect from yesterday(06) the Company has announced.

Accordingly the Litro Gas Company has increased the price of 12.5 KG Gas cylinder by Rs.80 ,5 KG Gas Cylinder by Rs.30 anf 2.3 KG Gas Cylinder by Rs.15 the Company has stated.With this price increase the new  price of 12.5 KG LP.Gas Cylinder wil be Rs.4360 ,5 KG LP Gas cylinder is,Rs.1750 and 2.3 KG LP Gas Cylinder will be Rs.815 the Company has stated .

The prices of LP Gas had been increased accordamce to the price mechasnism introduced to be implemented  during  the first week of every month
