Bodies Of Mother And Son Buried Under Rubble Of Soil Mound Collapse Recovered
The bodies of Mother and the son who were buried under the rubble after a soil mound had collapsed on their two storied house at Warakapola area yesterday (14) ,had been recovered today (15)
Earlier father of the house who was buried under the rubble due to the disaster had been rescued by the residents of the area and hospitalized for treatment .Another son of the family is still missing and rescue operation is currently underway to find him it has been reported .
More Than 55,000 Persons Are Being Displaced Due To Adverse Weather
More than 55,000 persons residing in 11 districts are being displaced due to the floods ,strong winds and storms occurred as a result of heavy showers prevailing in the country since few days according to the Disaster Management Center .
Accordingly 55,435 persons residing in 11 districts are being displaced due to floods by this evening the Center has stated.Majority of these displaced persons are residents of Gampaha District it has been reported .Due to the adverse weather water levels of Kelaniya and Gin rivers have overflown in few areas it has been reported .,

Prices Of Bread And Bakery Products Cannot Be Reduced -All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association
Although the wholesale price of Wheat flour has been reduced by Rs.85 by the importers with effect from last night ,The prices of Bread,Buns and other Bakery products cannot be reduced at this stage according to the All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association .
The prices of Bread ,Buns and Bakery products can be reduced only if the two major Wheat import companies Prima and Serandib as well as other importers can reduce the price of flour to Rs.250 the association has stated ,

Three Went Missing After Soil Mound Collapsed On Their House
Three members of a same family went missing after a soil mound had collapsed to their two storied house at Thumbaliyadda area in Koswatte ,Warakapola as a result of the heavy showers prevailing in this evening (14).
Four persons at the house including Mother ,father and two sons believed to be buried under rubble after the soil mound collapse and the residents of the area had managed to rescue the father and admitted him to the Warakapola hospital for treatment .The daughter of the family was in a tuition class at the time of the incident .rescue mission continues in search of the missing persons .
