A total of 175 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (09) ,increasing t he total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 10,864 according to Director General Of Health Service (DGHS ) ,
Accordingly 96 males and 79 females had died today due to Corona infection DGHS has stated ,
Out of the deceased 139 were over 60 years of age and 35 were belonged to 30-60 age group it has been revealed ,There was one death under 30 years old ,
Another 2856 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (09) ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 477,636 according to Epidemiology Unit .
At the moment 58,656 Corona positives are being treated at Government/private hospitals /quarantine centers and Under home care service the Unit has stated ,
The officers attached to Essential services Commissioner General's Office and Consumer Affairs Authority had today (08) raided four stores in Paliyagoda and Mabola in Wattala areas and taken in to custody a stock of 4000 metric tons of Sugar hidden there according to sources ,
Accordingly the officers had taken into custody 3100 Metric tons of Sugar hidden in two stores at Paliyagoda area and another 900 metric tons of sugar hidden at the store in Mabola ,Wattala areas ,All the stored raided are registered ones and authorities have decided to take legal action against the owners of these stores ,
