The officers attached to Essential services Commissioner General's Office and Consumer Affairs Authority had today (08) raided four stores in Paliyagoda and Mabola in Wattala areas and taken in to custody a stock of 4000 metric tons of Sugar hidden there according to sources ,
Accordingly the officers had taken into custody 3100 Metric tons of Sugar hidden in two stores at Paliyagoda area and another 900 metric tons of sugar hidden at the store in Mabola ,Wattala areas ,All the stored raided are registered ones and authorities have decided to take legal action against the owners of these stores ,
