Missing Hambanthota Youth Was Found From A Temple In Dikwella
The youth G.G.Gayashan (22)who had been reported as missing while he was in custody of Hambanthota (Southern Province) Police was found from Dikwella Area (Southern Province) today (15).
Police had arrested the youth while staying in a temple at Dikwella it has been reported.
The youth along with two others were taken into Police Custody on 05th of September over stealing of 80 sacks of paddy stored at a storage facility In Bandagiriya area.
Four Policemen attached to the Hambanthota Police including three police sergeants and a constable suspended from their duties this morning regarding the disappearance of the youth.
Police had arrested the youth while staying in a temple at Dikwella it has been reported.

Ex Colombo JMO Dr.Ananda Samarasekera's Anticipatory Bail Application Was Rejected By Colombo Magistrate
The anticipatory bail application filed by the former Chief Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) in Colombo Dr.Ananda Samarasekera regarding the murder of former rugby player Wasim Thajudeen has been rejected by Colombo Magistrate Court today (15).
The ex JMO Dr.Samarasekera has stated through his bail application that the Police are expected to arrest him regarding the investigations carried out on the disappearence of several body parts belonging to the former rugby player.
Dr.Samarasekera has requested the court through the application to issue an order directing the Police to release him on anticipatory bail as he has no connection to the incident and not committed any offence.

Supreme Court Directed The Bribery Commission To File Contempt Charges Against UPFA MP Namal Rajapakshe
The Supreme Court has today(15) directed the Bribery Commission to file contempt charges against United Peoples Freedom Alliance(UPFA) MP Namal Rajapakshe on or before 03rd of October.
The directive has made when the case filed against MP Rajapakshe who is the eldest son of former President Mahinda Rajapakshe by the Bribery Commission on MP's failure to give a statement regarding an ongoing investigation instead of being summoned by the Commission.
The case was taken up today for hearing before a three member bench of judges chaired by Chief Justice K.Sripavan.The case was postponed until 14th of October 2016.

Four Persons Were Killed And Two Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Van-Bus Collision
Four persons including the driver of a Van were killed and another two were wounded and hospitalized due to a Van-Bus collision occurred at Palai in Kilinochchi(Northern Province) area early this morning.
The injured were admitted to the Kilinochchi Hospital for treatment.
The accident was occurred when a Van traveling from Kilinochchi to Jaffna had collided with a Bus traveling from Mathugama to Jaffna it has been reported.
