MP Namal Rajapakshe Has Been Remanded Until 22nd Of August

Hambantota MP Namal Rajapakshe who was detained this morning has been remanded until  22 and of August by the Colombo Magistrate Court.

The MP was remanded after being produced before the Colombo Magistrate Court. this evening.

MP Rajapskshe who is the eldest son of former president Mahinda  Rajapakshe had been  detained by police financial crimes investigations division(FCID) this noon over the charge of illegally purchasing Rs.125 million worth Hello Corp shares during the previous regime.

A 19 Year Old French Girl Has Died After Falling Down From Ravana Falls(Ella)

A 19 year old french girl has died due to  slipping and falling down from "Ravana Falls"(Ella)in Ella area(In Badulla District) this afternoon it has been reported.

The deceased had faced the unexpected incident when she visited to see the waterfall with her family according to the Police.Her body was sent to Ella Hospital for an autopsy.

Ravana Falls is one of the popular tourist attractions in the country and it's cave lies 4500 feet above sea level.

UPFA MP Namal Rajapakshe Has Been Detained

Image result for detainedUnited Peoples Freedom Alliance(UPFA )MP  of Hambanthota District  Namal Rajapakshe has been detained by Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division(FCID) this noon on the charges of illegal purchasing of Rs.125 million worth Hellocorp Shares during previous government.

The UPFA MP who is the eldest son of former president Mahinda Rajapakshe was  questioned this morning by the FCID over the allegation leveled against him.He is due to be produced before court this evening.

Railway Security Officers Detained Four Persons For Throwing Stones At A Passenger Train In Colpetty

The suspects who are residents in Maligawatte area have been handed over to the Col petty Police for a future course of action.
