Private Bus Operators In Colombo-Chilaw Route Have Lanunced A Strike Since This Morning
The Private Bus Drivers Operating buses from Colombo-Chilaw Bus Route have launched a strike action since this morning by demanding the release of the bus driver who was detained by police over an assault on another bus driver and two others.
Due to the Bus Strike people have faced enormous difficulties it has been reported.
The police have detained the above mentioned bus driver as he assaulted another bus driver over a personal dispute .Police have also detained some other persons who have obstructed policemen.

Two Youth Have Drowned At Bandarabulankulama Tank In Anuradhapura
A girl and a boy aged 19 and 21 respectively drowned today(27) at Bandarabulankulama Tank in Anuradhapura District(In North Central Province) as the small boat they were traveling in capsized it has been reported.
The bodies of the deceased who were residents of Ambagaswewa Area in Polonnaeuwa(In North Central Province) have sent to Anurashapura General Hospital for post mortum.
